1 x Bidirectional Module (Model 0020242)
1 x User manual

Application:
This bidirectional module can work as a transmitter module or as a receiver module, so two modules can form a transmitter receiver system.
It can be used for super far distance remote control operations in various industrial automation, agricultural automation, and home automation, such as home, factory, house, farm, pasture, vehicle, ship, offshore operations, aerial vehicle, field call, etc.
It can remote control various equipment on land, water, and air, such as lights, sirens, locks, motors, fans, winches, blinds, linear actuators, doors, windows, electric solenoid valves, security alarms, business signs and various devices. The application scenarios are endless.

Features:
Wireless control, easy to install.
It adopts spread spectrum communication technology, which greatly improves the anti-jamming performance.
It can be used as a transmitter module or as a receiver module.
Ultra-high receiving sensitivity, super long working range.
Three working modes.
Four channels input / output.
With feedback buzzer and feedback output pin.
With external antenna, the module has a farther working range.
The transmitter module can control the receiver module from any place within a reliable working distance.
The wireless RF signal can pass through walls, floors, doors or windows, but it will lose some operating distance.
One or several transmitter modules can simultaneously control one or several receiver modules.
Two or more transmitter receiver systems can be used in the same area.

Bidirectional Mode with Feedback Function:
The module has a feedback function, so the user can know the working status of receiver module by the buzzer of transmitter module.
When the receiver module is triggered by the signal from the transmitter module, it will immediately transmit a feedback signal to the transmitter module, then the transmitter module will send out a buzzing sound to inform you that the receiver module has been successfully triggered.

3 Selectable Working Modes: Self-locking, Momentary, Interlocking
Modulation Mode: FSK (FM) + LORA (SPSP)
Working Distance: 5000m / 15000ft (theoretically)
PCB Size: 52 x 28 x 14 mm (2.0 x 1.1 x 0.6 inches)
Operating Temperature: -20°C ~ +70°C

Working Range:
Super long working range: Two modules form a transmitter receiver system, the maximum working distance can reach 5000 meters in an open area.
The maximum working distance is based on theoretical data without obstacles and any RF interference. In practice, it will be hindered by trees, walls or other construction, and will be interfered with by other wireless signals. Therefore, the actual working distance may not reach this maximum distance.

Usage:
Two modules form a complete kit, one as a transmitter module and the other as a receiver module. Therefore, customers should purchase at least two modules.
Note: This module is not compatible with normal RF transmit or receive modules, such as the modules of fixed code, learning code, or rolling code.

Setting Operating Mode:
1) Set the module to work as a transmitter module:
If you want to set the module to work as a transmitter module, you need to turn off the fourth bit dip switch.
When a data pin of the transmitter module is connected to the VCC pin or DC 3.3V power, it will emit a corresponding wireless signal.

2) Set the module to work as a receiver module:
If you want to set the module to work as a receiver module, you need to turn on the fourth bit dip switch.
When the receiver module is triggered by wireless signal of the transmitter module, its corresponding data pin will output DC 3.3V voltage.

Instruction of Pins:
Pins Working as a receiver module Working as a transmitter module
D0 Data Pin with DC 3.3V Output Data Pin with DC 3.3V Input
D1 Data Pin with DC 3.3V Output Data Pin with DC 3.3V Input
D2 Data Pin with DC 3.3V Output Data Pin with DC 3.3V Input
D3 Data Pin with DC 3.3V Output Data Pin with DC 3.3V Input
GND The negative pole of DC 3.3V power supply
FB Feedback Pin with DC 3.3V Output
VCC The positive pole of DC 3.3V power supply

Setting Different Working Modes:
When the module works as a receiver module, we can set it to work in three different working modes.

1) Setting Self-locking mode: Turn on the first bit dip switch.
The operation in self-locking mode:
Press the button 1 of the transmitter module, the D0 data pin of the receiver module outputs DC 3.3V voltage.
Press the button 1 again, the D0 data pin stops to output the voltage.
Press the button 2 of the transmitter module, the D1 data pin of the receiver module outputs DC 3.3V voltage.
Press the button 2 again, the D1 data pin stops to output the voltage.
Press the button 3 of the transmitter module, the D2 data pin of the receiver module outputs DC 3.3V voltage.
Press the button 3 again, the D2 data pin stops to output the voltage.
Press the button 4 of the transmitter module, the D3 data pin of the receiver module outputs DC 3.3V voltage.
Press the button 4 again, the D3 data pin stops to output the voltage.

2) Setting Momentary mode: Turn off the first bit and the second bit dip switch.
The operation in momentary mode:
Press and hold the button 1 of the transmitter module, the D0 data pin of the receiver module outputs DC 3.3V voltage.
Release the button 1, the D0 data pin stops to output the voltage.
Press and hold the button 2 of the transmitter module, the D1 data pin of the receiver module outputs DC 3.3V voltage.
Release the button 2, the D1 data pin stops to output the voltage.
Press and hold the button 3 of the transmitter module, the D2 data pin of the receiver module outputs DC 3.3V voltage.
Release the button 3, the D2 data pin stops to output the voltage.
Press and hold the button 4 of the transmitter module, the D3 data pin of the receiver module outputs DC 3.3V voltage.
Release the button 4, the D3 data pin stops to output the voltage.

3) Setting Interlocking mode: Turn on the second bit dip switch.
The operation in interlocking mode:
Press the button 1 of the transmitter module, the D0 data pin of the receiver module outputs DC 3.3V voltage, and other three data pins do not output the voltage.
Press the button 2 of the transmitter module, the D1 data pin of the receiver module outputs DC 3.3V voltage, and other three data pins do not output the voltage.

How to set the feedback function:
You can turn on the third bit dip switch of the transmitter module and the receiver module to activate the feedback function. Or turn off the third bit dip switch of the transmitter module and the receiver module to deactivate the feedback function.

How to pair the transmitter module to the receiver module:
1) Press the learning button of the receiver module for 1 - 2 seconds, signal LED on the receiver module is on, the receiver enters the learning status.
2) Connect any a date pin of the transmitter module to the VCC pin or DC 3.3V power within 5 seconds, if signal LED of the receiver module flashes 3 times, it means the learning is successful.
3) A receiver module can learn the signals of multiple transmitter modules.

How to delete all codes stored in the receive module:
If you don't want the receive module to work with the transmitter module, you can delete all codes stored in the receive module.
Operation: Press and hold the learning button of receiver module until signal LED is on and then flashes 4 times, then release the button. That means all stored codes have been deleted successfully.
